  • Culture-specific Units

When I saw the initial screenshots for Warlords I was excited that culturally-specific units seemed in the cards. But they're not, outside the scenarios.

So I've tried to put them into the core game with one hitch: the units, for example, the Chinese Archer from the Chinese Reunification Scenario, stand at the farthest corners of the tile, rather than lining up as the normal Archers do. Curiously, these units behave "normally" in their scenario.

Does anyone know what controlls the behavior of the independent troops within each unit?

That would be CIV4FormationInfos.xml I think, but I've never messed with that myself.

That did the trick! Thanks for the help.

      Now the real work begins...
