    Corrected Mod Map

    Here is the corrected Mod map.
    Unzip the map into the Warlord save directory into the Worldbuilder folder.

        I just got to play it and I noticed there are absolutly no resources. I remember you saying in the other thread that they were not in the correct place, but I can not find one resource on this map.

          I apolgize for that. I am taking a short break. But I was leaving the downloaders the opportunty to play with the map a little bit. I was letting everyone who wanted to, be able to use the cheat menu to add whatever they wanted to it.

          Personally I am running into memory issues. The base map is eating 800 MB RAM with the medium settings. The worldbuilder isn't (for whatever reason) eating as much RAM. On a positive note I start my new job next week. So I will be getting more memory soon.

          I do have resources placed in N. America and parts of Europe. After I finish the resource placement then I add the Barbarian Huts and finally the GoodieHuts.

          I have run into a snag that I really need feedback on. How many resources are too much? Under normal sized maps this certainly isn't a huge problem, but with this sized map it is. I have locations on my soure maps for every natural resource save Horses, Marble and Stone.

          So if anyone has some ideas, please post them.

            1200 resourses on the entire map. That may sound like a wild guess, but I just counted the amount of resoureces in a quarter of a huge map, and I ended up with 95.

            As for resource placement it should be baced on civ location. Like Europe is only a small portion of the land, but 7/18 of the civs are there, so therefore 7/20 (an extra 2 added for Aussie, Siberia, and Canada) should be in Europe. 4/20 should be in western Europe (uncluding Germany) while 3/20 should be in the rest of Europe.

              That's an interesting idea. I can work with 1200 resources. Well, what do you think about distribution for all 26?

                You can go ahead and adjust for 26, or you could wait until you put all 24 civs in. The choice is yours.
