  • Guide for graphics mods?

Where can I find a guide on how to mod the graphics?

What format are they in? What do I use to edit the textures? How do I create new unit models?

The textures are in DDS (Direct Draw Surface) and TGA (Targa) formats and the models are in NIF (NDL [Gamebryo] Image Format) format. All of which can be viewed and edited (to a limited degree in the case of NIFs) using the free toolkit in my sig.
To create new graphics from scratch, 3DS Max with the Firaxis-released plugins, and Photoshop with the DDS plugin in my toolkit, are the recommended tools for use. However, unlike my toolkit, they are not free, and whilst many people may use them illegaly via p2p networks, this is not condoned - officially.

Thanks, luckily I do video work and have both of those tools already (and most of the other Adobe stuff and Maya, but not Lightwave which I started with on the Amiga).

      Thanks again.
