I want to try out a particular map type: archipelago, small islands, tropical, low sea level. Basically it results in a map made completely of little islands, with no big oceans. However, from the game I tried, expansion is really slow. So, I'm going to mod the work boat to be an early caravel - carrying only settlers and missionaries. The work boat costs a lot less than the galley, so this should help expansion a bit. However, will the AI use the unit? If the AI doesn't, it's pretty pointless as it's just a massive advantage for me.
Also, will the game 'splode if I or the AI use a work boat to build a fishing net while there's a unit in it? How do I disable the "build fishing net" button when the boat contains a unit?
