Question on Warlords Modding

Hey guys, I've seen on here and read in the manual that SAM inf and Marines now upgrade to Mechanized Inf, but in a strange way, a way that doesn't make them obsolete when Mechanized Inf is discovered. I went digging around in the UnitInfos.xml file in the assests directory, and SAM inf doesn't have any entry at all for where upgrade stuff normally goes...

So, does anyone know where this new bizzare "optional" upgrade data might be stored? I'd like to utilize it for some units in the mod I'm working on, but can't figure out where something like that would go.

You're mistaken. Neither Marines or SAM Infantry will upgrade to Mech Infantry anymore. Machine Gunners will and I believe Infanty as well. I'm glad they did it this way, that's how I had it modded in vanilla.
