  • [Mod Idea][SDK]Enhanced Events Mods

    The basic idea of this Mod is as follows:

    1) Add events for certain things that otherwise must be monitored:
    Whip anger wearing off (it is nice to whip at max rate)
    Specialists being automatically created (catching this can be important to prevent GPP pollution).

    2) Enhance some additional events, such as:
    "Hostiles spotted" - Fork this event so it shows as something like "WARNING: Hostiles in friendly territory" when they are actually inside cultural borders.
    "Cultural Borders Expanding" - Fork this event to give more significance to border expansions which enclose a new, previousy unimprovable resource.


    I do actually have a proof of concept working which has a new event for lash anger wearing off.

    Suggestions welcome of other things that you'd like to become events, or certain events of which some occurances are more significant.

    While your suggestion implies greater control & efficiency for the player, I would like events which increase the UNpredictability in the game for everyone, such as variations in LOCAL happiness, food supply (famine/abundant harvest), plague, etc.

    Example would be the not-updated Random Events Mod at CFC .
