How easy is it to translate Civ4 from English to another language? I plan to translate it to Portuguese and I was used with the old text files system, but I don't know how hard the new system is to use. I'm asking this because I don't want to start the translation and then waste my time and effort when I find that some degree of technical expertise is necessary to tinker with the files.

Open the files in Assets/XML/Text in a text or XML editor. Add an entry <Portuguese> for every entry there and translate. Any who can read and write can do it, but it's a LOT of work to do a full translation. -
Thanks for the tip, Locutus. Yeah, I know it is a lot of work, and I'm in no way planning to finish this translation quickly, but I'll do it in my spare time and see if I can finish it in three or four months.I watched you fall. I think I pushed.Comment
