  • Civ4bonusinfo.xml- anyone got this one figured out.

    I'm trying to fine tune the appearence of OIL.... would like some help if anyone *KNOWS* how some of the variables work in the file.

    Basically I'm looking to make oil more clumpy- like 2 or 3 spots on theglod with 1 or 2 appearences of it.

    if you're only going to speculate, please don't respond to this thread- I'm probably well ahead of you and have experimented a lot with this file...

    there are some limits on what you can do there

    Some of the map scripts don't obey the settings in the bonus xml, so your control over placement is limited to maps that use the standard bonus distributor.

    That said, I would suggest looking at the settings from fur, as the standard bonus distributor lays out those roughly how you described.
