  • Is there a Gamespeed Tuner-esque Mod for the AI?

I really enjoy Junuxx's mod for simplifying the tweaking process for Quick/Normal/Epic settings related to research, construction, culture, and so forth.

But I'm wondering if there's one out there for doing the same to AI bonuses/penalties.

Some poster on here gave evidence that the same rules don't apply to the AI on any level, and they get a free lunch in regards to barbarians, unit upgrading, and other stuff, which I'd like to change.

    Thank you Marid.

I don't know of any such program, but anyone with some programming skill could do it. I'm a bit busy with the Atlas Project and my website at the moment, but I'd like to point out that I made a utility 'DefaultPlayers Tweaker' a while ago. It's a very basic xml file tweaker. One could use this as a basis to make the program you want pretty easily. And the good thing is, the source code can be found right here

Heh, good call Junuxx, I often put like 5 more civs on a huge map and I'd rather use the 'play game!' creator than the custom game if I can get away with it. sorry to hijack
