I new to using XML and still getting my head around it. I'm suggesting a MOD which will play more or less the same until you get to future tech stage or mybe until you sucessfuly launch a space ship. After which new units and buildings become available. (Items you wounld expect to see in the futher or mybe in AlfaC). If any one would like to have a go at it before I get up to speed please feel free to do so, but I will need help with graphics(skins) as I am hopeless with them. The names of most of the suggestions are only to give you a good idea of what i'm thinking and will probably change.
New units would inclued:
Starfighter(air). These would be able to travel large distanes and cant be intercepted by normal aircraft but can only bombard and rize cities/units.
Its chance of sucess can be reduced by the MSDN (Microwave satilite defence net - Wounder). Like nukes and the SDI.
Laser SAM. These would be able to shoot down any battleship within 3-4 squares. (they would work like intersept dose for fighters but dont need to be in a city had have little defence to gound units)
Star-defender. These would be an upgrade to the fighter to enable it to defend agist star-fighters.
Space bommer. These Units would have no defence at all but would travel so high and fast that they can only be attacked when they are on the ground. There only abilty is to bombard with a 20% sucess rate due to the height at which they travel. This could go up to 30% if recon is done on the area in the same turn or reduced by MSDN. It would also have a high maintinance cost as it need a lot of fule. Also these will only be able to run a bombard mission for an airfield(Terain mod). They will be built in a city and then have to be rebased to an air field before they came bombard.( this is to make it easier to attack them so they are no nearly invenable). PS: the unit would be invisable be the airfield would not. Don't know how the AI will respond to that.
Spy-Plane: This unit would have no strength and can only do long distane recon missions. It would be useful with the space bommer and the Modern artilery.
Futher armor. These would be invisable until they attacked or another unit tries to enter its square also more powerful than a modern armor.It would also be able to ignore boarder rules.
Future Infantry. The sole role of this unit is to seek out and defend cities agenist futher armor. It will be able to detect invisable and be able to move a square or two faster that the futher armor.
Modern artilery: These would be able to fire/bombard any square on the map but only if a plane is present in the area to guide it to its target(recon). Also the futher the target the lower the chance of hitting that target.
Hover tank: Can travel and attack on land or water
Laser Trooper: An upgrade for the marine.
Ranger: Like the laser trooper but using the lanch pad (city improvement) can be placed any place on the map (airdrop) with a 80% chance of sucess, reduced by MSDN or if the unit tries to land on top of an emeny unit but will be detroyied if it tries to land next to or on a laser SAM.
Forgin national: This unit would be like a spy would look like the emeny(There fore invesable) but could only pillage improvements. Don't know if I could get this one to work properly.
Hummer: A fast unit with multi first strike and withdraw abilities and a little less strength than a Future Infantry.
Mega Nuke: Same a nuke but will completly distroy everything in the tile and surounding tiles it lands in. It will be very very expensive and have a limited range it would also be affect by the SDI and MSDN.
Nuclear Sub: Carries 1 Mega nuke and is slow due to its sise.
Cost Gaurd: Can detect subs but not very strong.
Stelth Boat: Is invisable and can carry troops across water.
Also updates for battleship destroyer ect....
Update worker to build new improvements like:-
Airfield: for Space bommer - above.
Undergrund Bunker: units that are stored(forified) here become inivsable while they stay there. can maybe only done on hill tiles???
Tubes: like in AlphaC.
City Improvements:
Med Lad: +3 health
Sky-lab: +1 resurch, +1 gold
Lanuch Pad: Needed to build and deploy(airlift) laser troopers and to build some of the new air units and to build MSDN wounder sky lab.
RoboFactory: Increes hammers
Cyper Vision: +2 Happy
RoboCleaner: +1 Health
Processing plant: +1 gold +1 health
Army base: Make barriks opsulite, Two promotion to new units, need to build some of the new MOD units.
RoboEscort: +2 happy, +1 gold
Wounders:
MSDN: microwave satilite defence net, Like SDI and explained above in unit
AlphC: Only the first team to land on alphaC will get the benifits of this mod free lanch pad in every city.

Dilitium: needed to power some new units

I will need a few new techs too to revile new resorces and to make new units available. I'M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS HERE.
