    Then I suggest you create a unit called Hawkeye Pierce with a promotion that is more powerful than Heal 2 and March and that is unique for the unit

            I was a thinking about health and doctors and such.

            Could have a new health resource called Herbs (medicinal rather than flavoring, which are covered by spices).
            Herbs provide +1 health.

            The clinic would only provide a base of +1 health but be fairly cheap, it would grant an additional +1 health with herbs.

            Basically the clinic/herbs relationship would be the same as theatre/dye.

            Then in the modern age could have a Pharmaceuticals wonder which would provide a number of tradable Pharmaceutical resources in the same way as Broadway/Hollywood etc. These would add +1 health, and another +1 health with clinic.

              That's an interesting idea.

              Seems like we should drop doctor specialists all the way. All original Great People have four abilities (discover tech, settle in city, start golden age and the category-specific one (hurry/shrine/academy/traderoute) ), and the Doctor should have it too. Besides tech, golden age and founding a Health Institute, the Doctor could be a super-medic.
              The difference between industrial society and information society:
              In an industrial society you take a shower when you have come home from work.
              In an information society you take a shower before leaving for work.
