    I found myself micromanaging unit stacks. I'd monitor who's got the least experience and try to focus on that unit in combat. Sometimes I would forfeit a higher level unit's combat round so that he wouldn't get too far ahead with XP.

    This mod does away with that. At the end of a combat round, one point of the winner's experience level is given to a unit in the stack with the lowest experience.

    Note that some battles will be a bit harder as a result of this.

    Requires sdToolKit 1.20+
    Implemented version control.
    Distributes all of a unit's NEW experience evenly throughout the lesser members of the battlegroup.
    Siege weapons have been excluded.

    BugFix : Occasional loss of 1 XP.
    Some minor cleanups and optimizations.

    So this fires off only after a combat victory correct. It dosn't fire every turn slowly draining exp from elites untill the whole stack reaches equality. If so they I see nothing inapropriate about that at all, young fresh recruits would naturaly gain experience "fighting along side" their experienced bretherin, you might also say that some men are being exchanged to help bost the combat experiece of the green units.

      Correct. As I just posted on CivFanatics, stack attack is for the player's convenience... it doesn't modify how the combat calculations are done at all. The micromanagement kinda removed that convenience for me.

      Plus, like you said, soldiers learn... they don't just stand around with their eyes shut until its their turn to do battle.

      Also note that this mod will force you to be more wary of AI stacks... especially veteran stacks. Combat just got harder.

        If a unit is attacking alone it gets to keep all the experience it normaly would (either the event dosn't fire or the lone unit being the leased experienced in the stack gives itself the XP point). In either case your not lossing any experience attacking with a solo unit?

          Nope, it checks for that... well, the new one does, can't remember the old one. Gonna upload after submitting this. The function checks near the start and just returns if there's only one. In the case of a ship with units aboard, then the XP is distributed to the one naval ship... or two, or three if there are several present.

          On your side, of course.
