Have the CIV makers ever specified how many square miles/kilometers are represented in each tile?
I've always wondered if the scale is the reason why there are no true "ranged" units in the Civ series... for example, battleships being able to bombard cities from 3-4 squares away. Is this moddable?
Also wondered if it would be possible to mod Civ to have turns that represent units of time that are fractions of a year.
