    Brilliant Idea!!!!

    I tell ya what would be a great jesture of kindness to all the other newbs out there.

    For all the cleva peeps using this forum to make a simple guide on how to get what you want wen editing XML files.

    e.g.

    If you would like to change the name of a civic then type over here.

    -or-

    if you would like to give this a health bonus then insert this line ...... healthbonus +1 () all cities.

    etc etc

    cuz lets face it, not all of us are as good at this cool stuff as sum of u on ere. n i think it would be a great elp to those who's mind shuts down as soon as it tries to start the modding process. im sure there are people like me who find "just edit the command line to + 1 commerce" baffling!!!!

    LOL

    i may even be repeating old news and there may be one already. if so , sowwy!

    I have to agree. I am most looking forward to someone making a helpful GUI tool type thing that makes editing the XML nice and simple.

    Well, this is my first post in this forum, and I certainly start with gusto :D I have enjoyed every title of Civilization that has been released, but this one definitely takes the cake. Of course, if a game can be edited or modded, I love to get my hands dirty. I come from the train...


    Erm, well I can't find any other ones right now (Civfanatics is sloooooooow) but i'm sure i've seen some others.

      i no, bcuz i no what i would to change, and i basically know what i have to do but cant do it. like i tried to make hereditry rule able to draft 1 unit per turn but instead made 1% boost to unit production. LOLOLOL

      i would like to change the civics, and leader traits. but jus need someone who is a cleva sod to say if you would like cottages to grow into hamlets in one turn if you have this civ then type this......

      maybe people are bugged by people like me! LOL

      that one should be ok - the civ fanatics one. but luks like it could be a wait.

              In Swedish we call it Lunarslang. I don't understand much.
              The difference between industrial society and information society:
              In an industrial society you take a shower when you have come home from work.
              In an information society you take a shower before leaving for work.
