I'm new to this, so has anyone or how do you create new units? If you've created a new unit can it be downloaded so others can utilize?

Sofar, it's only possible to reskin existing units since the program with which you can make units is quite pricey.
On other news, the game ships with 5-6 unused units in a scenario folder. Extract the art0.fpk file and you can find it there. Some modders have already used them. -
Could you tell us what those unused units are ?In all that we undertake it is necessary to give two thirds to the mind and the other third randomly. Increase the first fraction and you will become pusillanimous, increase the second and you will be reckless.

Sure, take a look at this link in CivFanatics. You can find a screenshot with those units in.
They are: Mark V tank, Cataphract, Hyphastist, Crusader and the biplane. There's also a WWI infantry unit, but the infantry used in Civ4 is a reskinned version of that.Comment
