I got to thinking, how about modding Godzilla into the game? If there has been a nuclear exchange, maybe there could be a chance for a barbarian Godzilla, Mothra, or Rodan (King Ghidorah anyone?) could pop up to punish the evil nukers! And then, after a Godzilla raid, the Civ could put production into a MechaGodzilla unit to combat the monsters, but it would cost as much as a Wonder of the World. Better be Kiryu, he was the coolest MG.

Godzilla punishes the NukER?? Don't you mean he "adds insult to Injury for the NukED". Godzilla attacked Tokyo more time then we can count (and I think Mothra hit Paris once) but I dont ever remember them going for America (the only country to ever use a nuclear weapon against another).

An interesting way to implement this would be for the Lion, Bears and other animals to spontanisly "upgrade" when they enter Fallout tiles. A new Komodo Dragon animal could give the desired giant reptile.

Animals would have been long gone by the time nukes are available. More importantly, I believe only cities can be nuked. Animals cannot go within the borders of a civilization, so this is impossible.

Well, in Destroy All Monsters Godzilla attacked New York. Of course he was being controlled by aliens...Same for when Rodan attacks New York in Final Wars...

I think it would be a simple AI script to make Godzilla attack the Nukers, of course, it would be fun to see him attack the Nukees fifty turns after the nukes. This would be a BIG (literally) deterent to nuclear exchanges, as monsters could pop up in both countries. It would take MAD to a whole new level!

Combine this with the King Kong unit I think someone is making or made.

Hell an entire mod of this type of modern sci fi stuff would be pretty good although long idea to do.

Maybe we should make a whole Monster Civ. Since Godzilla is the King of the Monsters he would be the leader...nah. Barbarian godzillas with a buildable Mecha-G. Maybe we can have the monsters fight. King Kong vs. Godzilla.
