Where are the XML files

I can't seem to find any xml file other than CivilizationIV.ini.

I thought I looked in PublicMaps and virtually every place in the install directory. What I am missing.

To be honest all I really want to understand was what happen when you change difficulties.

At Monarch the computer gets %X production boost +1 health +1 happiness.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The files themselves are located at "Civilization 4\Assets\XML". However - if you want to modify the game, do not change those files directly. Instead, copy the file to the corresponding location at "My Documents\My Games\Civilization 4\CustomAssets\xml", and modify the file there.
