  • Max Wonders

I can't seem to find where the max national wonders for a city is coded. I generally like to play on tiny maps with only 3-5 cities, and find the limit of 2 way too low.

Heh, I found this by mistake actually:

    [Define]
    [DefineName]MAX_NATIONAL_WONDERS_PER_CITY[/DefineName]
    [iDefineIntVal]2[/iDefineIntVal]
    [/Define]

Should be what you are looking for. Its found in GlobalDefines.xml

You won't be able to build many of the national wonders unles you have at least five cities, sice five is what's needed of many prereq buildings.

Depends on the size of the map. On huge it is 8.
That it is wrong for a man to say he is certain of the objective truth of a proposition unless he can provide evidence which logically justifies that certainty. This is what agnosticism asserts and in my opinion, is all that is essential to agnosticism. ["Agnosticism and Christianity", 1889, Thomas Huxley]

True. Maybe the max bumber of national wonders per city should scale with the mapsize as well.

Not to sound like a complete dweeb, but I can't find the file GlobalDefines.xml anywhere on my computer. Is it an individual file or a section in another file??????

            Thanks............Bill

It should be in the highest level of the XML files IIRC.
