I have an interesting idea. Though I am aware this may not be possible. I was thinking for those of you who know how to mod what about creating your own countries during gameplay. I.E. the creation of Isreal or Britans creation of Iraq. Lets say you invade 4 cities of Egypt and now you control those four cities and you want to set them up as a new country. You would be able to invent the name of the country and possibly choose the leader head from existing ones. You could also set up the country with its own defensive army with current game rules by simply donating troops. Is this possible?

That will probably require the SDK, but I hope it's possible. That's a very good, and realistic idea. I often avoid far flung wars because I hate having to manage cites on the other side of the world. Turning them into puppet regimes would be a welcome addition.
Civ4 calls all the civs "Empires" but they are not. The ability to form client states would be true empire building.

I think it's possible now, using just Python/xml, though no doubt the SDK would make things 10x easier.
So, players will now have the ability to add scripted events to the game like automatically generating units when a tile is reached, having specific situations trigger automatic war, or get this, bringing back Civil Wars caused by unrest, Civ II style!Last edited by Gelondil; November 10, 2005, 03:22.

I think it's possible with Python. Maybe would be a litle easier with the SDK, but I think that's about it.Creator of the Civ3MultiTool
