Snoop,

Am a noob at this trying out mods. I've installed the mod, but I'm not getting the Great Person pic popups at all. It just looks like the regular game. Yes, I've installed the mod properly and loaded it, it restarts, and then nothing. I go straight to Music in tech to get a free GPerson, but when I get it, there's no popup or nothing. Going to try flushing this cache to see if that fixes it.

So far, no luck.

I can empathize with your position regarding the posted links. That said - then surely you can cut back on the acute commercialization factor of the site since as you put it “there is not much need for mirrors”. It would be a reasonable suggestion in support of the community whom donate their time, skills, energy and other resources towards development and care for the community. After all we do this because we love it and not to build a business or make a profit on it - yes?

Spartan - If you don't like pop-ups, it's easy to block them...on any browser. That does, of course, decrease ad revenue.

Doesn't work for me either!

you have to uninstall the mod in the right place

for some it works in the root directory

for others its the /my games/ directory

for others, they need to put it in both
