  • World War 2 Scenario

    Well as in all the other civs, i think it'd be great to have a World War 2 civ for this version of civ.

    I will keep everyone informed on the progress, also if anyone has any ideas let me know.

    A few things I'm working on for this scenario are :

    --Forts renamed to Pill Boxes--

    --All workers captured would be placed here, must have captured workers to build--
    +3 Production in the city they are built near
    +1 gold for the city they are built near

    --German spies renamed to SS--

    --ICBMS renamed to V2, requires discovery of rocketry--

        I'd say plagarizing the World War II Mediterranean scenario is a good place to start.

        What are going to be the start and end dates for your scenario?

        I think you've got too many players. Will there even be room on the map for Bulgaria? The Allies are OK, but the Axis should probably be chopped down to Germany, Japan, and Italy (and Italy is pushing it). You can have an event to divvy up the French posessions among Germany, Britain, and Japan when Paris falls.

        What are you planning to do about the neutral countries?

          well.. the WW2 Scenario which comes with the game is pretty crappy imo..

          first it´s only the African Part
          second it´s boring
          third all flags are white.. ergo you never know which side the army is on = annoying

            I agree with Andrew, if youre starting at Pearl Habour (and this might be sensible considering half the world would be idle until the end of 1941 otherwise) you may aswell join all continental Europe civs into one civ under Germany, and Japan the other.

                I thought the Desert War scenario was pretty good and fun, and had no problems with flags.

                  I know there is a WW2 scenario that came with the game, but like they said above I think it's kinda crappy.

                  Yes the war would start in the end on 1941.

                  As far as bulgaria and all that goes, there will be room for them. But if worse comes to worse I can combine them.

                  I know there is alot to be done, that's why I've been working on it every little chance I get.

                  These ideas are helpful, and keep them coming so I can make this as much fun as it can be.
