I have a mod in C:\Documents and Settings\...\Mods\MyMod
When I run my shortcut to Civ4 to use that mod and then save a game, I can not restore it. If I double click on the save game it says:
\Mods\C:\Documents and Settings\...\Mods\MyMod is not a valid mod directory.
Obviously it is right, that is not a valid directory at all. The save game seems to list the absolute path to MyMod near the front of the file. I'm guessing the engine is prepending \Mods\ to that mod path and getting screwed up. The file is binary so I can't just change the path to a relative one.
If I try to load it from inside the game it says the mod \Mods\C:\Documents and Settings\...\Mods\MyMod must be loaded and the game has to restart, even though I have MyMod already loaded. It obviously doesn't recognize the mod path. Then when it restarts I get the first error.
Can anyone else load a save game that was saved with a custom mod?
