Better/customised notification of significant events.

Loving the game but one thing is bugging me.

When another Civ builds a world wonder it barely gets mentioned and is quite often missed by me to be honest.

I was wondering if anyone with the skills and the time could come up with a mod or an options screen to customise event notifications?

Ie play a sound/popup when another Civ builds a Wonder.

This would actually be very easy to do, I'd do it for you if I wasn't at work right now.

Look at Locotus' stickied thread for reference on events, specifically onBuildingBuilt

When that event is fired you check for the building type to see if it's a wonder then you create a popup (he has an example of how to do that on that same thread) to say what you want

You might also have to check the player type to make sure it's an AI player and not you, unless that wonder movie is not enough notice
