  • Earth1000AD Scenerio Q

did a search and couldn't find anything on this topic so I'll post and see what everyone thinks.

This scenerio really caught my attention and seemed like it has good possibilities... so I loaded and played as the Holy Roman Empire.

Here's where the Qs come in:

    1) why is there no diplomatic contact b/t the Holy Roman empire and the Viking Empire or the Byzantium Empire. Both of those civs are 'at war' w/the HR empire but there is not an option to communicate with them that I could find.

    2) I used the world modifier tool to open up the world map (see the enitre world) and the only civ's it showed as existing were those that I could see when I was playing the game - that is, there were no Mongols, Chinese, Aztec, Inca, Japan, etc) The Q is, are these included? (I assume the Mongols are there due to the text in the scenerio startup)

2a) are these civs added later? are they just not visible for some reason?

    thanks

    yes those civs exist

you can not contact vikings and byzantium because they are "allways war". it is supposed to be that way.

I for one find that scenario incredibly dull
nothing seems to be happening as if something is wrong with the ai

    do not know why

im playing on emperor and no ai is doing anything

did not know that about the Always at War part... where did you find that info?

also, the AI does seem to be a bit "challenged" in this scenerio when compared to a regular game - perhaps someone could tweak/remake this
