    I discovered that the Assets\XML\GlobalDefines.xml file has some variables for altering the destructive power of Nuclear Weapons, in particular NUKE_UNIT_DAMAGE_BASE, NUKE_POPULATION_DEATH_BASE etc etc. Changing the attached variables to ~85 makes Nukes considerably more devastating... I was wondering if any had discovered if it's possible to modify the damage radius, as it were, to give Nuclear Weapons a broader range of effect.

    speakin' of nukes, ive not seen a negitive diplomacy effect from using them, ive used 3-5 nukes and no one seems to mind. in 3 i used 2 and everyone in the world declared war on me...

      You can see it when you negotiate with other leaders I think. It says something like "-X 'You nuked our allies'" with the amount increasing the more you nuke. But yeah I was pleasantly surprised to see that it isn't nearly as harsh as it was in Civ3. More fun for us.

        Makes sense, as I don't think the world will go MAD if a single nuke or two was used...just when your using hundreds or thousands of them to oblirate the opposing side.

          There's a iNukeRange in XML/Units/CIV4UnitsInfos.xml, I think that's what you're looking for.

            I test that nuke, it's dont do much damge unless I'm unaware that Civ build bucker but How should I know!

                yeah i made em like 99 all around and nukes now act like nukes... destroys all unit and lowers city from whatever it is down to a '1' wooohooo
