Guys,
I have issues with Cyrus McCormick being at the pinnacle of trade FF tree.
This guy offers:
1. +1 food for tiles producing +2 food
2. +1 cotton for tiles producing +2 cotton
3. +1 tobacco for tiles producing +2 tobacco
4. +1 sugar for tiles producing +2 sugar
Which means:
1. Hills and marshes will now produce +1 food.
This would make marshes as effective as plains and grasslands for farming. This is useful.
The bonus for hills is not so effective, as hills cannot be plowed, hence seldom one would have interest farming hills.
2. 3. & 4. Forests can produce 3 cotton, tobacco and sugar. This bonus is not useful at all, as seldom anyone would harvest forests for these materials.
Overall, Cyrus is average. Perhaps Cyrus should receive a more decisive bonus -eg +1 food from all tiles-, or move down the FF tree.
Thanks,
Mysh
