I just reloaded the game like a dozen times and each time I start right off the coast of northeast Brazil. It doesn't matter which civ I pick. Is this broken or is there a way to randomize it?

Huge North America Map - Always Same Spot?

I just opened the map up in world builder, I don't think I want to play this map anyhow. North America is ridiculously far west. It would take 10 turns or more to get to Europe from North America whereas South America can do it in like one or two turns.
Hopefully someone has made a better map.

What Snoopy means is there is a bug that if you specify starting locations on a WBS file, the AI won't settle at all. It'll just sail round and round in circles.
This is addressed in the Snoopy/Dale patch, but I haven't added that fix to AoD2 yet.
