  • limit to wagon train range?

for wagon train, when in simple automated mode, i want to restrict its travel to the local area settlements.

building a second city, on another continent, i'd thought my wagons had been lost. i found them... they were in panama, on their way up to new england; or, the northern settlement's wagons, in panama, on their way down to brasil.

in 'units' xml, there's a couple of items which have 'move' and 'movement' in their name, but giving them a low value didn't stop the wagon's 25 move travel.

is there a way to keep your working wagons within a confined area?

You can give them specific trade routes (e.g. Fur from New Holland to Fort Orange)

Noob here. Last night I was trying to assign a specific trade route to a specific wagon train. All I could figure out was setting imports and exports at the colony level. Please elaborate.

Thanks, Unimatrix. I hate asking questions where the answer is "RTFM" but that's something that I missed when I read the manual and failed to find when I looked for it in the manual. Basically I thought they were talking about the "Automate Transport" button for the wagon train, and never found "When the wagon train is active, click on the 'Assign Trade Routes' unit action
          button."
