Is there any way to get the specialists you can't buy in Europe except hoping to find a tribe that trains them? To training them in schools you need an initial one.

On the original game sometimes free colonists who worked at one of those for a long time turned into one. I don't know if they kept that mechanic though.Indifference is Bliss -
That mechanic is no longer in the game. You must train them in an indian camp.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Nope, you're wrong. You can't buy all specialists in Europe. E.g. the fur trapper, cotton, tobacco and sugar planter are all indian specials. While a seasoned scout often appears in Europe docks, you can't buy him.
The only specialist harvesters you can buy in europe are Lumber, Ore, Fish, Farm, Silver.Comment
