Quick (threadjacking) question: do you have a favorite map for AoDII? I've mostly been using Faireweather.

Hey Herm,

I usually play on FaireWeather, but starting getting slightly pissed off with it.

It tends to spawn me all the time on high hill lands, where plains and praires simply don't exist.

I would be keen to try something different. I don't really like faireweather, but it is better than A_New_World randomness.

I am now ill and cannot play and enjoy. Think I may try western hemisphere again for my next game.

Anyone else finding faireweather too "hilly"?

FaireWeather seems rather hilly, and I've never remotely seen the Great Plains or the Pampas. Lots of jungle too, though it makes sense that those areas would be extensive.

Damn yes, it seems I am getting them with a frustrating frequency. Like 8/10 of the surroundings are all hills.
