Arming colonists in Europe

In Col 1 you could take a colonist and give them horses and guns in Europe. Essentially importing Dragoons ando or soldiers.

Can you do that in Col 2? I remember someone saying you could in another forum, but I cannot figure out how.

Yes, you can (and should regularly!). There is an option in the europe screen (maybe right click on them? I forget, but it was intuitive for me).

I believe you simply double-click the person after you purchase them, and you have the familiar options to arm them, put them on horses, make them a missionary, etc.
