Ok, so I have my colonist/pioneer/whatever out in the world, but i never have the option to build a new colony.... its very annoying as you can imagine, can anyone help out?

When you have just about any unit selected, I believe the far left button at the bottom of the screen is the "Build Colony" button.*"Winning is still the goal, and we cannot win if we lose (gawd, that was brilliant - you can quote me on that if you want. Ya agreed, this doesn't make a lot of sense so maybe a screen shot will be helpful, a picture is worth a thousand words

You can only build settlements at the beginning of a units turn when it has all of its movement points.
