So I have barely scratched the surface of this game, and have a few questions.
I am playing as Spain and so far have 2 settlements. My capitol (Isabella) produces quite a few cigars per turn and is more or less the bread and butter of my economy so far. I load the cigars onto my ship and sell them back to europe. My second settlement (Santo Domingo) produces food, which I use to supply Isabella with enough food to stay content.
Now this is my problem. I am currently at war with the English and need more guns, however I do not produce them quite yet in my new settlements and need to use the funds I made from selling cigars, to purchase guns from europe. I cannot figure out how to "BUY" things from europe when my ship is over there. I see all the resources listed at the bottom of the screen. When I click on GUNS it does nothing.
Any input would be great, thx guys
