Hm... I knew the guys at CGN were working on a version of Colonization. I didn't realize that someone came out with a version-

Appearently it's like the venerable Free Civ.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but apparently its here:

Yup that is FreeCol.

FreeCol is the best attempt at a Col remake, and in the same graphic strain as Civ2. Highly recommended by me, but watch for the AI, can frustrate you a bit.

I really like playing FreeCol (I had the original, but took it off my PC when I learned that my copy may not be legitimate )
