My prejudice here is strongly in favor of Refugees because of prior civ games, but I'm going to hold off voting until I hear other people's thoughts for/against.

I think Artists give us the most flexibility. A lot of social engineering is possible the first few turns to dramatically alter the way we start out. Artists help those first few virtues fly by.

Yeah partway into my first game and health is a bigger deal than I'd thought, which militates against food.

Growth is very fast in this game. I haven't looked much at the food box, but it must be smaller than in past Civ games. Often grow to size 2 by 3rd turn or so.

I have nearly a dozen Biowells and took aristocrats and I'm still sitting on negative 20 health. We need moar health.

I'm voting aristocrats purely for the sake of roleplay.

Obviously such a future will need scientists.

I don't have the game yet (and won't until christmas). Based on what I've read so far, health does seem to be an issue. It may further be complicated by our difficulty level. The higher the level, the bigger the issue. I will hold my vote until we have more information and other choices have been made.

In the mean time, thanks for starting these Kuci!
