During Gamescom we were able to check out the next incarnation of Civ´s most destructive weapon. It´s likely the most oppulent way an atomic explosion has been displayed so far in a Civ Game - it also seems to be among the most powerful ones.

Units in its radius blast get destroyed, land gets ravaged and cities take heavy damage. Also the impact radius is generally bigger compared for example to Civ4.
