Once this ACDG finishes, are these private forums made public? And if so, is there anything mentioned here we should be worried about?

I doubt they'll be made public. More likely we'll all be booted out of the civgroup and the posts archived somewhere. I'd hate it if they were deleted and I lost all these posts. Googlie or GT probably know, so we'll ask them when they return.

GooglieGod was banned for a week for misuse of the 'poly upload feature. There's a thread in the Apolyton/Community Forum about it.

Ah - found it. I have replied there thus:

"I didn't know I was banned as I was in Seattle for the weekend - just found out today when I was puzzled by the "welcome back" messages

My offence was to post in the community forum pics thread one of RedFred and me at the 3rd annual Vancouver SMAX convention. It was removed by, I guess, one of the moderators.

I didn't think it was an "illegal" pic - one taken from the Homeworld convention or the Sims convention would be, but given that this thread to which I posted is 29 pages long and contains around 100 personal pics, I didn't think I was "flouting" anything

Other pics I uploaded were relevant to the PEACE faction in the ACDG

I have removed all uploads from the system and will not use this feature in the future."

What?! I saw that pic and there wasn't anything wrong with it. Just two guys sitting down having a good time. Maybe it had to do with the size or the type of file of the image?

Nope - nothing extraordinary about it - except that I didn't know how to attach it to my post like the other 100 pics in that thread, so used the upload feature (expecting it to display the pic rather than just give the link)

I did draw DanQ's attention to my uploaded files, though, when I queried why one I had linked to a PEACE post wouldn't work (wrong file extension) so that prolly provoked the review of my posts and pics

Ah well

I've deleted all the uploads, so there won't be a problem again
