This has come up before, some other European idiot compared America to Syria. In Syria the government has more guns that the people do, about a 3:1 ratio. In America there are about 90 guns in private hands for every one in the government's.

Syrian military has about 2 million guns. US military has about 3 million.

Syrian people have about 700,000 guns. American people have 270,000,000. We are so far beyond them, that comparisons you make are absolutely laughable.
