A great final round by Ernie Els (who no one had in their lineup) and a blow up by Adam Scott to give Els the win. That shot into the bunker by Woods and then his shot to not even get it out lead to a triple bogey and no hope for another major win. Just when you think he's back...
Two (3?) majors in a row with a terrible Sunday. He's not the old Tiger.
But even playing poorly, he managed to hold on for a T3.

Gotta say, Ernie Els really showed me something out there. The birdie he made on 18 was easily double the length of the par putt that Scott choked on 15 minutes later.

Kuchar was a +10 today and Rose a +6. I presume that was because of the wind conditions.
Looks like I'll be falling back again; no A player for the weekend.

Tiger had two putts that did a 360 around hole but made it in and one "Nike" putt that stopped just on edge of hole, even with the wind behind it. But very good putting today though he bogeyed last hole. Still has share of lead, though.
My guys have made the cut so should be OK.
Looks like I'll really pay a price for avoiding Tiger this week. So it goes.

I will probably regret not putting Rose in for Woods today. Losing 17 points overall for that non-move.

Miracle. At around 3pm Friday, Luke Donald was in 77th place and seeming lost for the weekend, but the entire field apparently bodeyed the last 3 holes for him to make the cut.
Then, of course, I had a little help from demonbinder, leaving 3rd place on the bench. (Thanks, man!)

i played golf with a pro yesterday, Greg Kopf - he's ~55 and on the Champion's Tour
he shot 62 Thursday and maybe 64-65 Friday
geez, 300+ drives down the middle with a 115 mph swing that looked effortless, even like he was trying to swing slow. An approach shot usually within birdie range of 20 ft or less, and a belly putter with a long putter grip (the right hand is open and touching only the back of the grip). Drive, 60-90 yd approach and a putt - over and over.
