    The Leftsea Gulf...

"Captain!" The young crewman in the crow's nest called out... "I've spotted the Fleet that bombarded the Queen's Port! They are making port in Tlaxcala 45 degrees North by Northwest!"

The Captain picked up the speaker-horn and called into it ... "Engine Room, can we overtake the fleeing vessels?"

The Cheif engineer's voice crackled , admidst static , clanging and schreeching, "I'm givin er ahl she's gaht Captain!"

"Alright then!" the Captain shouted "All hands prepare for battle! We'll chase them to Tlaxcala and prepare for them to come out , guns blazing. We have finally cornered them at long last and they arent getting out on my watch! Suleiman would have my head!"

"He'd have ALL of our heads" The Captain thought to himself...

John (F. Kennedy) was walking through his (white) house....
Barefoot.... Jacky wasn't supposed to hear him.
"The beauty of this house is that it's that large! I am sure that Jacky will never find us here, Marilyn!" John said.
"You have no business with the war?" the voice of a woman asked.
"War? What war? Follow me, did you ever do it on Lincoln's desk?"

The fishing boat slowed down and began to drift in the waves. The captain reached overboard and picked up one of the timbers: some French word etched in the wood with "Property of the Aztec Empire" crudely painted underneath.

"What an odd find, and so fresh still," he remarked and pulled the plank in to the ship.

"Well, this will make a fine showpiece for my home," he said to his first mate as the engine started up again, and they returned to hunting the elusive Leftsea Whale.

    The Magnificent's last Mission...

Night... Aboard a Turkish Galleon assigned to carry the Marines...

The Admiral of the fleet was nervous. Such an audacious thing had never been attempted by him. He asked what the rammifications of attacking Havana would be... He worried it would infuriate the Queen, who loved the Americans, and who after-all, had not yet beheaded anyone... He was not anxious to be the first.

But then a young Marine officer handed him an encoded document...

He engaged the decoding device to decipher the message. It read... "New Orders. Top priority. Capture of Havana canceled by Order of Queen Irina. New Target assigned by order of the Sultan. Move the invasion fleet to Texcoco. Send 2 detachments to other locations. Send first to central Azteca and await orders. The second will perform classified mission. Consult Commanding Officer for details. End of Communication.

The Admiral of the Marines fleet was distressed... Not only was he tasked with the most important mission the Navy had ever undertaken, but his Commanding Officer, the Chief Naval Advisor, was actually aboard his flagship to observe... He went to the Commanding Officer's quarters, not knowing what to expect...

Moments later, An argument was already brewing between himself and his superior... The later had ordered the second detachment to travel to the port of Tlaxcala for a mission of unspeakable danger.

Tlaxcala was a Fortress, swarming with Viking Machine Guns and housing the Fearsome French fleet, flying Azteca flags of course... And now the Chief Naval Advisor was directing him to sent one Marine group in one ship to take on the entire fleet? "How could this be possible?" he thought... And then his Commanding Officer was suggesting that he, the Chief Naval Advisor alone would undertake the mission with a few Marines as bodyguards to wait for him on shore... This was too much for the Admiral to comprehend...

"But your Grace!" the Admiral protested, "It goes against all protocol! Surely one of the Marines could..."

The superior cut him off... "I am Suleiman. All know to fear my name. And I fear nothing. What must be done can only be done by me. And what must be done shall be done. I am Suleiman. I am the wind. I am the ocean. I am the wrath of the Sultan. I am the vengeance of Turkey. And now I am the voice of the murdered citizens of Tlaxcala... I am Justice. I am Suleiman. Sacker of Hebron, sacker of Havana, sacker of Ai, sacker of Miami, sacker of Grunzen City, sacker of Nain, Savior of the Zulu, Avenger of Ekron Oasis. I am Suleiman." Without another word, Suleiman handed the Admiral a letter.

The Admiral saw that the letter was a sealed communique from the famed Russian Spy, Natasha herself.

It was signed with her signature lipstick mark, and read... "Dearest Sultan, Through my sexiest Viking sources, I have determined the exact position of all Viking defenses in Tlaxcala, and enclosed a Map. With this information, your agents should be able to slip past the Viking defenders and determine the strength of the Aztec Fleet hiding in Tlaxcala, maybe even cause havoc among the Azteca soldiers there. Comrade Catherine feels that it is the prospect of upgrading this fleet has driven the Azteca King Mad. Unfortunately, I fear that the only Officer capable of executing this mission is either myself, or your Chief Naval Advisor, Suleiman... No other officer posseses the necessary skills..."

The Admiral hung his head in sorrow... a barely perceptable gloss of emotion covered his War-hardened eyes... "Yes Sir" he replied, "I will Obey your Command. We are your Marines and our love for you will fortify us. Go with the blessings of the Brahman."

The gaze of Suleiman softened... and he handed the Admiral a roll of scented parchment... "If I do not return, Be sure the lady Aysecan receives this letter. Now I will show you now how a Naval operation is conducted. Remember what I do here today... For the Sultan, For Turkey, and for..." his voice cracked... "Aysecan... my belov..." he paused "Enough!... I go!"

And with that, Suleiman the Magnificent stepped onto the rail of the ship and dove into the Leftsea Gulf, swimming for Tlaxcala harbor. Soon he was out of sight in the black night waters.

    The Mission...

Under cover of night, Suleiman was able to swim into the port where the Azteca Navy was hiding. He used Natasha's Map to slip by the Vikings and then immediately go to work.

Using heavy chains that Natasha left for him, he swam swiftly underwater, from ship to ship, lashing each one to the next, taking care to lash the Heaviest ones first, untill all 30 Azteca ships were tied together. Suleiman was, true to his name, magnificent. Natasha had taught him well in the art of invisibilty.

Once all the ships were lashed together by chain, Suleiman boarded the First ship in the chain. Stealthily moving in the night shadows, he was able to disable the night watchman, and take his torch. He immediately poured a cup of oil onto the deck, threw the torch to the deck and dove again into the black waters of the Gulf. Only this time, he was exhausted, and he quietly came ashore in Tlaxcala.

When the first ship caught fire, it was a Marvel to behold. The ships caught fire, one after the other after the other, and the sailors aboard were powerless to stop it. Because the ships had been adeptly chained together, the ones on the outsides could not escape, and their burning hulks blocked the others from escaping.

As the heavier ships caught fire and sank, they began to drag the on the lighter ships, and thefore fell like Dominoes. Soon the whole harbour was a blazing inferno of burning and sinking ships...

When all was said and done, the entire Aztec fleet, some 30 vessels, was at the bottom of the Gulf... serving as a playground for tropical fish.

Thus did Suleiman destroy the Azteca fleet. Many attack troops were found to be aboard the vessels, And Suleiman heard them abandoning ship... There was a mixture of French and Azteca screams as they perished beneath the waves...

"Ah, my dearest Natasha!" Catherine clapped her hands in delight when the serious young Russian Foreign Department officer and a top-notch spy Comrade Natasha entered the room. "My congratulations for your last mission. Your cooperation with Suleiman results exceeded my bravest expectations! Congratulations!"

"Thank you, Comrade for your kind words, but I fear this is only a small step on a long and thorny way of securing Russia's safety. The latest intelligence reports show that the Neandors are arming themselves with unbelievable speed - our Krasnaia Armia is no longer the mightiest army in the World, Catherine. To add to this the Neandors have built a training and command facility, called The Pentagon. From now on, all their soldiers will be better trained. So not only they possess the biggest army in the World, but their soldiers are real bad-ass veterans."

"Thats not good, Natasha... Especially when from the Great NAP there are only about 10 turns left. Do this means they are preparing for yet another terrifying war?"

"We cant be sure yet, Catherine, but this armament race, combined with the ruthless approach the Vikings are using in attempt to get Oil, it bodes nothing good."

Presidential residence, Mecca, in a late hour.

-Ah, Mr. Rasil, anything I can do for you?
-Not much, Mr President, just an informal visit, we haven't talked for a while.
-Well, you get along with my son as I've heard, making him one of the managers in your organization, things make me wonder how much you wait my resignation.
-Nah, he he, we are never in hurry, you know, though the ALDWO thinks we may need to start playing bigger part in world politics, using some of your official contacts even.
-Really? And what will you say when someone wonders what does the name ALDWO stand for?
-The Arab League-Democratic World Order of course.
    -Very original... but I don't think it's a good idea. A drink?
-Just water, please -Mr Rasil smiled. - the ALDWO wants only water.

    Rumors of rekindled Romance

Sources close to the administration have informed us of a renewed romance between long-time, off again, on-again lovers, Suleiman and Aysecan. Our source, connected to the Sultan's Navy, has reported that Suleiman sent a final love letter/suicide note to his beloved before going off on what was apparently a suicide mission from the Sultan. It seems Sultan Ahmed may have finally gotten rid of his longtime Rival.

Unfortunately for the Sultan, the removal of Suleiman from the picture may have happened too late. Our sources say that lady Aysecan is rumored to be pregnant with Suleiman's child. As always, both Suleiman and Sultan Ahmed's representatives refused to talk with us. We will keep you posted on this juiciest of stories...

Queen wears the pants in American affairs

A senior administrator in the Turkish government has informed us that depite what has been reported in the Daily Turkey, it was not the Sultan at all that reached out to the Americans with an offer of unofficial peace. The administrator informed us that it was actually Queen Irina, the famed leader of the Accolytes, who brokered a deal with the Americans, and then either persuaded the Sultan to go along with it, or sent the Orders herself. Apparently, the Queen still has great sway over His Majesty, especially in matters involving the Americas.

    Affairs of the American President

The Sexxstanbul's dogged reporters have determined the identity of the American President's favourite Mistress. She is an actress/singer named Marilyn Monroe. Ever since America was given the nod-wink peace treaty from Queen Irina, the President has been relaxing and partying with his hot young lady-toy. With the real stresses of war firmly on the shoulders of the Azteca, the American President has not a care in the world, and instead spends his time wining and dining his many Mistresses.

French King Drinks himself into a stupor after getting bad news

Our correspondents in the French Court witnessed the French King becoming what they described as "unhinged" upon hearing the news that their entire fleet had been lost in Tlaxcala. He reportedly called for wine, and then more wine, and then more still, until he was pissing his pants in a drunken stupor. The King then called for there to be music and entertainment and to forget "All this messy ridiculous business with the Aztec savages!"

Witnesses also reported hearing the King say, "I've pissed my pants and no one can do anything about it!" Then the King reportedly stood up, drew an American made revolver from his belt, put the barrel to his head, and shouted "The King is Dead! Long live the King!"

Of course, everyone in attendance screamed at the King not to do this, and several of the ladies fainted. Then the King laughed, placed the gun back in his belt and reportedly said "I was just bullsh!#ting! And you well know this, Madame!" Then the King slumped down in his chair and passed out at the table. He had to be helped to his chambers by Royal guards. The French Ambassador has refused to comment, but we will keep you posted on any new information...

    The Daily Turkey

    Death of Suleiman the Magnificent

We have recieved confirmation that Chief Naval Advisor Suleiman the Magnificent was lost in the course of completing a perilous mission. Our sources report that the Magnificent One was able to slip past Viking forces, singlehandedly destroy an antire Azteca fleet of nearly 50 vessels, overpower and drown over 30 divisions of enemy soldiers, and then with the help of his detachment of Rifleman bodyguards, defeat 5 divisions of enemy Military sent to capture him, before falling to a sixth.

Suleiman and his men were reportedly cornered in an old Tlaxcalan church called the "Alamo Monastery." Using the earthen walls of the modest church, Suleiman and his crackshot guards were able to fell scores upon scores of enemies before being overwhelmed by sheer numbers. Aparently the Azteca King caught wind that the dreaded Sulieman the Magnificent was the one responsible for his crushing defeat, and he was willing to kill the Legendary Turkish Warrior at all cost. The Alamo was surrounded and then an all out assault commenced, that resulted in the death of the Legendary Turkish Marine.

The reports of Suleiman's heroic exploits against the Azteca, culminating in his martyrdom are almost beyond belief, and will certainly inspire generations of Turkish Military. The slogan "Remember the Alamo" is already becoming the preferred rallying cry of Marines in the Leftsea. Regardless of what is truth and what is legend, One thing is certain, the Azteca fleet that attacked port Irina is wrecked, at the bottom of the Leftsea Gulf.

The Marines that recovered the bodies of Suleiman and his bodyguards reported that there were inummerable scores and scores of Azteca dead, laying at the feet of Suleiman and his personal guard. It was clear that the brave warriors had faced wave after wave of endless enemy soldiers, and finally sucumbed to the overwhelming odds.

Even more telling, was how the cowardly Azteca Cavalry fled at the sight of the Marines landing to recover Suleiman. Rather than stand and face the mighty Marines, the Cavalry fled back to hide in their Capital, Tenochtitlan. It seems that having had a taste of the bravery and prowess of the Turkish Marines, they were eager to escape rather than face the fate of their fallen comrades.

    Aysecan denies pregnancy rumors

Lady Aysecan has publicly denied that she is pregnant with any child, let alone Suleiman's. This statement is in direct contradiction of the scandalous story printed by the Sexxstanbul. The Daily Turkey will print any credible developments...

Suleiman buried at State... Supreme Commander Jamal re-called to service

Suleiman the Magnificent was given a full Military funeral in Istanbul, along with extra pomp and circumstance befitting a Sultan. No expense was spared, and there were hundreds of thousands on hand to mourn "The Magnificent Martyr" as he is now being called.

With the Death of Chief Naval advisor and acting Commander Suleiman, there is a void in military leadership. The Sultan has recalled Supreme Commander Jamal to service. Reports are that he has left the completion and publishing of his "Great Treatise of International Law" to his partner former Substitute High Messenger, Mahmud. Publication is scheduled later in the year.

Official communique from the Russian Foreign Department:

After sending official notes to both King Camaxtli the Azteca and Jarl Eirikson of Valhalla and after waiting for some good 24 hours to hear from them with no result, Russia had declared war to the Aztecs. The sole goal of this war is to convince the Aztecs to ask back their highly disputed city of Tlaxcala and the Valhalla to liberate the city back to its original owners the Aztec people. When this happens Russia will withdraw immediately from the war scene and will eagerly sign peace and works together with the Aztecs.

We reach out to your common sense, crowned leaders of your nations.

    Proletarians of all countries, unite!

    End of the communique.

The Aztec diplomatic service had been trying to reach Camaxtli for 18 hours, as the Russian ultimatum was close to expire.
Finally they reached him, and there he was, sitting at his desk.

“Men, this is a chicken game..
listen to my words, the Russians will back down..
they will realize that their demands are unreasonable..

trust me they will back down..
our Aztec army and navy are the greatest in the world..
they will realize that they will loose..”

    “but Sire..”

“don’t interrupt me, I AM THE KING.. I will not be interrupted..”

Then Prince Xochipilli shouts: “but father you clearly are not seeing things clearly..”

“Guards, seize this man now.. NOW I said, I SAID IN WILL NOT BE INTERRUPTED.
Throw him in the dungeons. ”

Later that night, as the Russians had attacked 6 hours before the ultimatum had expired, and both Tlatelolco and Teotihua Canal were burning ..

Reports indicate a rebellion in Azteca.

Troops have been stationed at entrance points around the Ballpark square with soldiers forming barricades across streets and alleyways.
In another departure from ordinary Tenochtitlan life, people quickly formed orderly queues to get through the army checkpoints.
Soldiers frisked people and checked their identification cards. One soldier said they were making sure no one with police or state security credentials could enter.

Reports are widespread that many of the looters in Tenochtitlan are, in fact, remnants of the police and state security forces that were forced into a full retreat during Friday’s mass street revolt. In addition, hundreds, perhaps thousands, of prisoners were released from prisons in Texcoco. Many believe it’s all part of an organized campaign by the regime of king Camaxtli to create lawlessness in the city in a last gasp attempt to maintain its grip on power. The headline of Tenochtitlan today blared: “Conspiracy by Interior Ministry to Foment Chaos.”

But those concerns largely evaporate inside Ballpark Square where a blossoming of mass public political expression is taking place. Never before during Camaxtli’s reign have so many gathered in one place in popular protest. Tens of thousands of people clapped in unison and chanted slogans ranging from the serious and patriotic to humorous rhymes filled with biting wit. Many had spent the night in the square and scores planned to stay longer.

Loyalist troops assembled around the square. Whatever the intended message, the crowd was not intimidated. They cheered, held up victory signs and waved in defiance. After emerging victorious in Friday’s battle with the interior ministry’s forces, there is little that can quell the enthusiasm of the Aztec people or their full-throated call for change.

Camaxtli’s attempt to placate the mass uprising by appointing to high positions two of his top party officials—Altli Fraztlac, the country’s infamous intelligence chief, as his first vice president and Ahmed Shafik, a former Ottoman navy commander, as prime minister—have been met with strong opposition amongst the protesters.

“Altli Fraztlac is not an option. The people are chanting against him today,” said a 30 year-old protester in Tenochtitlan. “People want to bring down the system…I don’t think anyone is going home until the king and everyone around him leaves. But remember WE DON"T WANT THE RUSSIANS EITHER.”

The most popular rebel chants say, supported by heavy rhytmic drums,
"Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, let us be free".
"Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, let us be free".
"Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, Camaxtli go home, Russians go home, let us be free".

Guahar Tlelac—the Nobel Peace laureate and former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency—arrived in Ballpark Square today to address the crowds. Tlelac’s reputation is beyond reproach and he commands respect amongst most Aztecs but many say he has lived outside of the country for too long and criticize him for not taking part in earlier street protests. Nevertheless, some are calling on him to be included in some type of transitional government.

The one unifying theme, however, remains Camaxtli. Everyone wants him out and it is difficult to imagine what iota of support he holds in any segment of Aztec society save for his very small inner circle. And so, the people wait. It turns out six days of revolt will not be enough to overturn years in power. But patience is wearing thin.

    CIVIL WAR REFUGEES

Rebels are seeking refuge whereever they can. The impact of the Civil War on the civilian population is unparalleled in any other venue.
Neither regular troops nor guerrilla bands on either side respect civilian property. Worse, bitter hostilities between the three warring parties Russians, rebels and loyalists greatly escalate the level of violence aimed at perceived enemies, whether in uniform or not.

To escape victimization, civilians flee their homes, creating a refugee problem not anticipated by Russian or Camaxtlian authorities. Refugees are fleeing towards any border they can find. Asking for a safe haven from the onslaught.

Former Substitute Messenger Mahmud releases advance copies of his Magnum Opus

The "Great Treatise of International Law" co-authored by Supreme Commander Jamal and Substitute Messenger Mahmud has finally been released for publication. The work contains a perfectly balanced War and Diplomacy centered complilation of international law. For our loyal readers, The Turkey is releasing excerpts from the introduction and the First chapter...

    Introduction

This work is done with respect and appreciation to all nations who have contributed to the understanding of international law. Particularly, we wish to give special thanks to certain nations and certain persons throughout history. The nations that must recieve special recognition are, Neandor, Inca, China, Valhalla, India and Native America. The persons that deserve special recognition are, Dwight 'diplo' Eisenhower of America, Empress Catherine the Great of Russia, Emperor Mejii of Japan, Rabbi Amram Goan of Israel, Lady Aysecan of Turkey, Camaxtli of Azteca, Ras Imru of Mali, King Phillipe of France, King Venetta of Neandor, Mind of Heaven of Native America, Comrade-Princess Catherine of Russia...

This Treatise is not intended to be an imposed rule. On the contrary, this Treatise is merely a recoreded observation of what the attitude of the world community has been historically to a number of situations. We attempt to present the way th einternational community has responded to past situations, in order to help nations predict how nations will respond to their conduct in the future...

    Chapter 1

    --Wars of Pure Conquest

Lower rank Civilizations have an absolute privilege to attack higher ranked civilizations for the purpose of pure conquest and or rank increase. Higher ranked civilizations have no privilege to attack lower ranked ones for conquest purposes. Some other legitimate purpose must be well enumerated before attack. When a lower rank civilization attacks a higher ranked one for conquest purposes, the attacks must cease when the lower ranked civilization surpasses the formerly higher ranked one in rank...

    ---

The Turkey will print more of this compelling work in days to come...

Salt of the Earth read the report from the mayor of Siskyou and sighed. He certainly could understand the woman's thought processes in this suddenly chaotic situation, but he wished she had been a little less compassionate under the circumstances. Still, he did not think it likely that the Turk-things would care much about the city called by the Serpent People-things "Tijuana", nor did he think that his good friend, "Comrade" Catherine would care much, either. The city had little in the way of strategic resources that anyone had found. And it was true that the sudden civil war in the Serpent People-thing "empire" left the inhabitants of the city quite without protection, or even basic services.

Still, he thought, accepting the request to take control of the city, and move troops into it no less, was bound to ruffle at least some feathers. After all, the whole issue of the war currently going on between the Serpent People-things and the Turk-things (and, by the reports, the forces of Comrade Catherine) was the "lease" of the city of Tlaxcala to the Viking-things. Trading cities like they were simply pieces on some gigantic gameboard was against all convention, even for the man-things of the rest of the world. For The People, it was not to be contemplated at all. Which meant the move by the Mayor of Siskyou had to be dealt with.

He thought for a moment. Ah, that was the key! He would stress to his friend Catherine, and to the world, that this was purely a temporary move. The city would be granted back its own control as soon as the situation stabilized. After all, that's all that the inhabitants of Tijuana had asked. And The People certainly had no intent on taking any permanent action on the situation. And he would remind the press that Tijuana had been right on the border, and was surrounded by increasingly Peoplized towns and farms. If The People had not acted to take control before, the world would hardly expect The People had permanent designs on Tijuana now.

He sighed again. Hopefully, things sorted themselves out very soon. Word of destruction in the psuedo-empire of the Serpent People-things had already reached him. It was not a good day to be from the Ithsmus...

The rumors that the former Lieutenant Boris rose so fast in the hierarchy because of his close relations with Comrade Catherine was finally broke. The important task of leading the Operation Tlaxcian Freedom was a good test about his skills and he managed it brilliant. Led by the newly promoted Colonel Boris in person, the Krasnaia Armia infantries had jumped from abroad the ships and had stormed the Azteca defensive positions on the West Coast. Despite the low odds, the determined Russian attack was successful, seizing two of the major Aztec cities Tlatelolco and Teotihua Canal with a storm.

Colonel Boris ordered the perimeter to be secured while we wait for further development of the crisis.

While waiting for the answer of the Aztecs officials - being they the Royal Court or the Revolutionary Comitee, an appeal to the ordinary Azteca was released:

"Aztecs, overthrow the lunatic King Camaxtli who leads you from war to another war! For the good of your nation, choose the peace instead of war. Stand as one and ask the unity of the whole Aztec nation. Take back Tlaxcala from the oil-thirsty foreigners. Take the control of your destiny back in your hands! Aztec Empire is the people of Azteca! Proletarians of all countries, unite!"

Tenochtitlan Today - Confusion reigns, no clear winner

“I will stay in Tenochtitlan until the end,” Camaxtli said.

On that occasion, Camaxtli also called on his supporters across the country to help liberate Azteca from the mass of the so-called rebels. Camaxtli continues to fight the insurgents despite recent reports of resistance that has killed 367 people on both sides.

In that message, Camaxtli also worried, “Azteca will burn.” He also promised to give arms to loyalists to attack the rebels who have pushed loyalists out of Texcoco.

Tenochtitlan News reports that Camaxtli refused to hand over power. In fact, Camaxtli promised to appear and declare victory in Tenochtitlan.
In Yucatan, the rebels who claim to have mastered Texcoco celebrate. The rebels are even very confident that Camaxtli will step down in just a few hours.

Despite this Camaxtli says: “The great thing that you guys do, although there is harsh opposition, you stay and fight in Tenochtitlan”.
“Go forward and attack, go forward.”

Meanwhile, both the rebels and the loyalists fight the Russians with even more hatred.
"We would have been united, happy and rich without these bastards and the Ottoman hounds they sent against us.."

Confusion continues.. utter destruction of Aztec lands and economy

    Short headlines

    * Camaxtli has not been signaled for 8 days. Has he fled the country?

    * Civil war continues. Loyalists control Tenochtitlan. Rebels the country side.

    * Situation around Tlaxcala remains unclear, as Camaxtli is unavailable.

    * Russian naval blockade causes severe famine in Tenochtitlan (loyalist) and Texcoco (rebel). Again the Russians have utter contempt for human life. First they destroy Tlatelolco and Teotihua Canal, now they starve the remaining Aztec cities.

    * Azteca is in ruins and will not recover. Economists say that it takes hundreds of years to recover..

    * Therefore rebels ask for protection of the neighbouring countries. If the naval blockade continues, nothing will remain from Azteca. Save the civilians!
Only the neighbouring countries can control enough of the countryside to prevent famine.
    > Tijuana rebels are already under protection of Native America.
    > Texcocan rebels ask for protection of United States.
    > Calixtl asks for protection of the Incan empire.

    * Being a stubborn people both loyalists and rebels refuse to give in to totally unfair Russian demands. First they and their dogs, the Ottomans, destroy Azteca and then they act like they are the peaceloving and kind peoples. "We Aztecs will have none of it! We better die proud, then to live like a puppet on a string. Let the world know what they are up against."

    * An american peace core has been signaled in the country. Both rebels and loyalists have asked them to return home, as the country is allready filled with military from all across the globe.

"Read this Aztec communique, Colonel Boris." a Russian infantry soldier with muddy boots entered and saluted strained.

"We will leave to Moscow to answer the political ones, but we can resolve the immediate humanitarian crisis. I will write to the Valhalla authorities to just hand over the Tlaxcala city to Native control. The people there are left not much and already starved by working to get that bloody Oil, so no starvation will occur there, even more - they will actually start feeding, as they have Native farms to work. It can be done even today, so no more lives are lost. Once the city is no longer in Viking possession, our job here is done and we are lifting the blockade and sailing away back to Matushka Rus. Contact the Vikings at once!" Boris was energetic and capable young man, who always liked working solutions.

    Breaking headlines

    * Tenochtitlan on strike versus Camaxtli

    * Texcoco under American protection

    * Calixtl under Incan protection

    * Ottoman government breaks promise: "the unofficial" peace as offered by the Ottomans is broken by these same Ottomans.

    J'accuse

The famous French writer Emile Zola publishes the news paper article "J'accuse" (I accuse) on the Ottoman campaign versus the peacefull Americans.
His final statements in this article are:

"But this letter is long, Mr. Sultan, and it is time to conclude.

I accuse Major Patyclam as the diabolic workman of the miscarriage of justice, without knowing,
I have wanted to believe it, and of then defending his harmful work, for three years, by the guiltiest and most absurd of machinations.

I accuse General Attaturk of being an accomplice, if by weakness of spirit, in one of greatest iniquities of the century.

I accuse General Suleiman of having held in his hands the unquestionable evidence of America's innocence and of suppressing it,
guilty of this crime that injures humanity and justice, with a political aim and to save the compromised Chief of High Command.

I accuse General Bosdeffra and General Gonse as accomplices of the same crime, one undoubtedly by clerical passion,
the other perhaps by this spirit of body which makes offices of the war an infallible archsaint.

I accuse the three handwriting experts, sirs Bello, Varina and Cazri, of submitting untrue and fraudulent reports,
unless a medical examination declares them to be affected by a disease of sight and judgment.

I accuse the offices of the war and Mrs. Aysecan of carrying out an abominable campaign to mislead the public and cover their fault.

Finally, I accuse the first Ottoman council of war of violating the laws governing war by attacking the allways peacefull nation of America,

and I accuse the second Ottoman council of war of covering up this illegality, by order, by committing in his turn the legal crime of knowingly discharging all humanitarian pleas.

While proclaiming these charges, I am not unaware of subjecting myself to articles 30 and 31 of the press law of July 29, 1861, which punishes the offense of slander.
And it is voluntarily that I expose myself.

As for the people I accuse, I do not know them, I never saw them, I have against them neither resentment nor hatred.
They are for me only entities, spirits of social evil. And the act I accomplished here is only a revolutionary mean for hastening the explosion of truth and justice.

I have only one passion, that of the light, in the name of humanity which has suffered so and is entitled to happiness.
My ignited protest is nothing more than the cry of my heart. That one thus dares to translate for me into court bases and that the investigation takes place at the great day!

    I am waiting.

Please accept, Mr. Sultan, the assurance of my utmost resolve in this matter.

    The Total War

Following the fall of the Representative government of India the entire nation was in utter chaos. The peaceful Indians who had dedicated themselves to pacifism for hundreds of years had seen their lands stolen by China, their honor mocked, their decency questioned, their morals despised, their colonies robbed, their people starved, their empire lost. The limit of Indian peacefulness had been reached, the cup of rage so far outbrimmed the restraint of logic that when some semblance of order was reestablished it was not a man of peace who took charge.

Admiral Bayeg was a man of Calicut, one of the cities that had suffered the Japanese blockade, his early history in the navy had made him a feared and respected as a harsh and brutal man, as so many naval commanders of the time. When a message from the Indian Constitutional Congress came to end the war against Japan, this man of war reacted by retreating to his quarters for a forthnight awaiting further orders. As no new orders came he began to send out orders of his own. A message to Japan followed quickly, allow the Indian fleet safe passage home. The Japanese in their arrogance demanded 300 gold for his retreat. Cornering their fleet with his superior ships he graciously granted them 100 gold in return for passage.

Yet the fleet laid anchored outside Japanese waters for several months, waiting. It was not an exit he desired, it was an entry. Following his commands the captains of several galleons responded as he expected, they too were harsh and brutal men, and all of them were loyal to India, to a fault. They responded to his vision as he had hoped, they sailed into the Dragon's mouth knowing well that only death could be their reward. Since the dawn of time, China had been India's greatest enemy, its only obstacle to greatness. The obstacle would be removed or India would collapse.

As Indian Rifles and Grenadiers assaulted from the sea, the Chinese coast cities pitifully defended fell, first Shanghai, then in turn, three others. The Indian soldiers saw no reason to show mercy, the cities were fired upon from the sea, the soldiers spread fires. In less than a week four of China's great cities were gone. Its population, great culture, many buildings eradicated by the allconsuming fires. As the word reached back to India of this act of insanity and reckless courage, the Indian people were shaken out of their lethargy. Thousands took up arms and marched to the eastern border. Total War now existed between the Indian Republic and the Chinese Empire.

Camaxtli, the official Aztec leader, has vowed to fight on and die a "martyr", calling on his supporters to take back the streets from protesters demanding his ouster, shouting and pounding his fist in a furious speech.

Camaxtli, clad in brown robes and a turban, spoke on Tuesday evening from a podium set up in the entrance of a shelled building that appeared to be his Tenochtitlan residence.

"I am a fighter, a revolutionary ... I will die as a martyr at the end," he said.

"Camaxtli is the leader of the Aztecs, I am not a king to step down ... This is my country. Camaxtli will not leave his post."

"I have not yet ordered the maximum use of force, not yet ordered total war... when I do, everything will burn."

He called on supporters to take to the streets to attack protesters.
"You men and women who love Camaxtli ...get out of your homes and fill the streets," he said.
"Leave your homes and attack them in their lairs ... Starting tomorrow the cordons will be lifted, go out and fight them."

Camaxtli said "peaceful protests is one thing, but armed rebellion is another".

He urged all young men to immediately "form local committees for popular security", telling them to wear a green armband to identify themselves.
"The Aztec people and the popular revolution will control Azteca."

The speech was made to hundreds of supporters massed in Tenochtitlan's central Ball Park Square.

    Speech highlights

Shouting in the rambling speech, Camaxtli declared himself "a warrior" and proclaimed: "Azteca wants glory, Azteca wants to be at the pinnacle, at the pinnacle of the world".

The leader alleged that all of those who were protesting against his rule were "drugged", and called on people to capture them and bring them "to justice", and not to back down from "cleans[ing] Azteca house by house" unless of the protesters surrendered.

Camaxtli warned that instability in his country would create an opportunity for extremist elements, saying that it would "give Russians and Ottomans a base".

He also warned that he could resort to using extreme force against opposition in the cities of Texcoco and Teotihua Canal, citing examples of the use of state force in Russia and Ottomans as times when the international community did not interfere.

Camaxtli offered a new constitution to citizens, starting from Wednesday, but asserted that the constitution would only come into effect through dialogue.

He said that the country's youth was drugged and did not know anything; they were following their leaders and these would be punished with death in accordance with the Aztec law.

The Aztec interior minister renounced his post shortly after this speech.
He was seen sitting on a desk reading a statement that also urged the Camaxtlian army loyalists to join the people and their "legitimate demands".

Liliana and Tatiana - two of the young female agents who were both companions and guards for Comrade Catherine entered her chambers loud. "Something is boiling, Comrade - we have no confirmation, but something is not right"

"I knew this number 420 bodes ill - fires and smoke, but it is even not come and the disasters are already started! Let us be prepared! Call the Prime Minister Yosif! Call Red Alert! Call mobilization! Everyone on his guard!"

Excerpts from Edward Gibbons' The History of the Decline and Rise of the English Empire

    The Elizabethan Age

Centuries of golden ages, colonial expansion, global commerce and native conquest led to an England sitting astride the world as a giant. An empire the likes of which the world had never seen. Vast territory and natural resources on three continents, millions of acres of land and tens of millions of royal subjects, the English Empire was the envy of the planet. In 1270 AD King Henry VIII died and left the empire to his daughter, Elizabeth, the first queen of England. Her coronation was befitting an empire at the height of its power. The pageantry and splendor was unmatched. All the lords and ladies dressed in the finest silks and linens the empire's global trade network could provide. Each of them expecting many glorious days to come. None of them expecting their grim fate.

The English Empire on the coronation of Queen Elizabeth:

The Great War - 1335-1360 AD

While the English grew wealthy extracting riches from around the world, her neighbors grew jealous and covetous. They were arming themselves at an incredible rate, and equipping their troops with advanced weaponry England simply couldn't match. They sought a piece of England's riches. They weren't after her colonies though, they were after the heart of the Empire - the British Isles. The Vikings struck first. With no provocation, they were motivated purely by greed. In 1335 war was declared and the Viking troops landed all across the eastern coast of Britain. Their vast numbers could not be turned back by the island's defenses. Their disciplined, accurate riflemen overpowered England's ragtag collection of medieval troops and smooth-bore musket carrying militia. While a sufficient army to subjugate primitive tribes on many shores, the English army was no match for the Viking onslaught. York fell in 1340, and London, the most glorious city in the world, fell to the Viking raiders in 1355.

Queen Elizabeth was determined to fight back. And fought back she did. She raised an army in Plymouth and the English killed as many Viking rifles as they could, she even led them into battle to retake London in 1360. But they could not hold it more than a few months. Admiral Nelson was dispatched to evacuate the city as the Viking troops fought and pillaged house to house through the streets of the once mighty world capitol. With all of Britain suddenly in danger of conquest, Queen Elizabeth and her court fled to Iceland, hiding behind her fleet and hundreds of miles of ocean, it was the last safe place left in Europe. The loss of London was a huge morale blow to the Empire, but had practical effects as well. London was the center of science and invention in the Empire, hosting the most prestigious research institution in the world: the Great Library. It was a hub of global trade, the lucrative trade routes from all corners of the planet were coordinated through London. Without it the entire English trade network collapsed, and so did the economy. The Church of England suffered a serious blow as well. The Anglican faithful in Australia, South America and Europe tithed greatly to the central church, and the Queen, as head of the church, had relied on these tithes to run both the church and the government. In every way the loss of London was a monumental disaster.

This first stage of the war went very poorly for England, the empire lost the jewel in her crown, but there still seemed to be hope. Up till 1360 it was purely a Viking vs. England war. It hadn't yet expanded beyond the two combatants. This was soon to change.
