I am set for CIVSTATS in Flamefest III

When I went to this game, it asked for a password, set by game host.not by player

Please help!

Not sure what you mean, but to register your leader at Civstats the password is 'meh' (without the '')

Are we supposed to wait for a flag to drop

Again, I didnt do anything, logged in saw no one had played and exited double quick

The game gave me 51 points per CIVSTATS but didnt do anything?

i just dont want anyone thinking I got any advantage although if anyone needs one its poor lonely ignorant Grandpa Troll

Gramps, this is Advanced Start. That means you get points you can use for building cities, units, discover techs, build improvement and buildings, etc. Log in again and spend your points!

Awesome Btother, just didnt want to offend anyone.

one other thing, is it 24 hours or 36?

I see 36

I personally would love 24 but 36 is ok, just some folks can not keep up with 36 so will defer that decision to others as i pretty much stated my stance, play early, play often!

I didnt do anything at all for go round, nothing, didnt click anything

I just logged in, have 2 cities built, many units

No chance to buy anthing

Correct, but no way i would have done what was done to me

I would never have set my civ up this way. overlapping cities with poor terrain. Excess worthless units

Gramps, you must've pressed the Begin button by accident. Then the computer spends your points for you (and very poorly I might add...). But if I'm willing to reload the turn if Wittlich agrees (we're the only ones to play yet), everyone should have a fair chance IMO. No fun in being ****ed from the start...

I will keep what I have

But I never started this way

I logged in

Saw a fogged map, saw on top left the points

Clicked begin and got two cites and two scouts

Oh well

Just play on

I thought I had to click that to begin to put units

Sheit

Oh well

lessons learned, although would like to know for the future what i have to do to select a unit and place where i want?

Too bad...

You have a box at the bottom with different tabs where you can choose things to build. If you set up a game on your own computer you can try various settings, I think it's under custom games in the setup screen.

How do you guys feel about a 24 hour turn timer (it's presently at 36). Wittlich, GT, Hercules and Indiansmoke says yes, but we need to be unanimous IMO.

Well, I see that Pinchak took Mongolia (Kublai Khan) and not Carthage ... so with that, I guess we are just waiting for Dreylin to login and assume control of Carthage (Hannibal) then.
