Unhappy Just have far in the development are they?

One only needs to read the "very-resourceful diaries" ( notice extream sarcasm ) to get quite confused.

On one hand, Sid says that the game has entered the level of intense work and programming, and the job is allready on hand.
But they still haven't decide whatever the game will be turn-based or real-time ( maybe a hybrid? ).

Just how can that be? Even the most preliminery job in programming, whatever it's the main engine core or graphic elements require the decision of game speed clock.
The selection resonate all along the algorithem code.
As a programmer, I know that both game approch require a totaly different coding system to the game.
So, if they still haven't decide how the game will function, it means they didn't even start on working on the game.
All said, the decision also effect the basic game notion, so even how the game should behave has not been decide.

Just what progress did Sid refer to? The decision it will be a game about dinosaurs?
And not such a good decision after all..
