As Americans and landing on a new un-chartered land, we find ourselves in a most uncertain position.
I know we have what it takes and over the course of time we will grow, but to which direction shall we head?
Science?
Military?
Economic?
I feel getting a good city producing civilization setup is an important start.
We find a nice river that empties into what appears to be a body of water, perhaps an ocean and at the very least a large lake.
We find a beaver dam close by. This is great. We will have pelts for the clothes and perhaps maybe find someone who needs and has something we should want.
Soon we have built 6 cities and now have several beaver dams and also a sugar cane field built up as well. This will sweeten our berries from the nearby forest.
We decide to put a small defensive garrison in each city.
The cities are growing pretty good once a granary was voted on as an excellent city improvement, with food being digested making the city to grow quicker and thus be more productive.
We found what appeared to be a wooden hut, abandoned but had some direction to outfit our horses, with a saddle, or so it was called and a stirrup which would make it easier to ride as well as wrap armor around the horses to protect them. Brilliant!
Soon, our people came together in one accord and we have decided to vote and meet after church services and came away with Theology as a common ground for our belief systems.
I am very excited at what the future has to offer.
