hi,
this scenario is for those wanting an edge on their opponent or just want to be on an even keel.
learn how to build your cities with hotkeys rather than clicks of the mouse. build that crucial structure quickly, easily, and efficiently. we all know that the key to winning is having a good city structure. build a good city structure quickly with hotkeys and you're on your way to winning!
details about the scenario... civilian buildings are crucial to your economy and only civilian buildings are included in this scenario. copy the 3 files included to any directory you want but normally scenarios are stored in the game directory folder called scenarios. start a "solo game" and pick "load a scenario". if you copied the files to your scenario directory double click on the file called "dutcheese-civbldg-hotkey-tutorial" or goto the directory where you stored the files double click the same titled just mentioned.
after the scenario loads you must build a city and then you are given instructions to build other buildings in a random order so the build order should be different every time you play. you have a couple of seconds to push the right hotkey combination otherwise a new build order is displayed. if the right hotkey combination is pressed the build timer is extended so the next build order is delayed a bit... but you got to be fast. hotkey hints are available if needed.
if this scenario is popular the next version will include a military building add-on.
enjoy,
dutcheese
ps. feedback is always welcome
