This is incredibly frustrating. I've actually gotten one game going in multiplayer, by hosting it myself, yet because I am behind a firewall, on Gamespy, I wonder how that happened at all.
But my main problem is when joining games. The first day I had the game, once I got to the second/civ-select screen, I would only see maybe 2 players from the 3v3, and never myself. They could not see me either, apparently. So the host would leave and the game would end. This always happens.
But today, I've tried maybe different 10 games, and each time I see NOBODY in the civ-select screen, although it says in the chat area that at least 2 or 3 other players have connected. Same thing happens, the host leaves because they cant see me and I cant see them. Any idea on the problem?
I have a cable connection, Windows XP, a 1.2ghz Athlon, 384 mb of SDRAM 133, and a Radeon 8500.
