    I'd love to see the ability to have scouts/recon TF's go on automated explorer mode - there are a LOT of stars in a huge cluster, I find it rather odd that I can have my viceroy's manage nearly everything except for exploration. Maybe this is in there, but I sure can't find it, and, I do think it counts as micromanagement to have to locate and give fresh orders to my recon tf's every few turns.

    Automated espionage building! There is *absolutely* no benefit to having the player have to keep selecting spies to recruit. Make it so that I can have a set number for each type and the viceroys will replace them as needed. As it stands, espionage is more of a break from the large overview thing - I mean, seriously: I'm an emperor who has no problem delegating something as essential as the development of new colonies, but I want to have to personally recruit each and every spy?! Silly oversight.

    I'd also love to see an AI for building offensive TF's and sending them after whomever I was at war with. Give me a dev plan for a fleet (i.e. 1 IF, 1 carrier, 2 long, 2 short TF's etc) and off they go once assembled. Make it selective: like, I can designate certain systems as Player only targets (like, I have to manually send forces there) and so on. I can't imagine that this would be all that hard to add - the AI for handling this *should* be there, for the computer empires.

    Basically, I like this game - I'm a *huge* fan of the macromanagement deal, but I just find it really odd that certain things that are not terribly important to do well (slop in exploring or fighting is OK, but screwing up colonies is a Very Bad Thing) are made to require user input, while other parts are made to be entirely automated.

    So, please, if anyone who can do something about this reads this, please, please, PLEEEEEZE give me automated scouting and spy recruitment, at least, in a patch
