The Galactic Civilizations III Thread

If you haven't heard, Galactic Civilizations III is coming with a release scheduled for 2015. Right now, we are in alpha with Founder's Elite edition, and the beta will soon start in coming months.

I just wanted to start a general thread in case there were any questions people might have.
