In March 2002, Apolyton Civilization Site Radio (ACSR) aired four editions of the "ACSR Mailbag", a weekly series where three-to-four emails received in preceding week were read by Co-Owner/Administrator Daniel "DanQ" Quick and the response to them [see earlier stories]. After ACSR went on hiatus the following month, "Mailbag" was expected to pick up right where it left off. Instead, "Mailbag" was cancelled in the interim. "Mailbag" is being resurrected and a second chance at digital life beginning in September 2005.
Depending upon the volume and content of communication received, each new "Mailbag" show will feature 3-5 emails and/or private messages sent to Quick and responses will be read on-air. "Mailbag"`s theme song will be the `Leonardo`s Workshop Wonder` from Civilization II which was originally used for the now-defunct "ACSR News" broadcasts.
As a 'valentine''s to the short-lived classic "Mailbag" run, a question and answer that originally aired during one of these shows will be included in each new "Mailbag" broadcast while the supply lasts. None of these shows have been publicly available for listening since mid-2002. "ACSR Mailbag" shows will air each Thursday.
