The right-wing media literally is telling people to fight the lockdown. Are you saying it's a hoax that they're being brainwashed to call it a hoax? Hoax of a hoax? Double hoax?

Check out my Huntington Beach video in the Corona thread. They're literally brainwashed.

99.96% of the plebs just want the economy reopened. They want their jobs back. And those that don't are Democrats.

North Dakota, an American state we border on, had about half our population. They have a proudly pro-Trump state government, and rejected the idea of silly things like science and safety. They have had 4,672 cases (including 72 new cases yesterday) with 93 deaths. I'm unsure how many active cases they currently have, but would guess more than 72. Currently, only essential travel is allowed across the border. I really hope it stays that way, possibly until next year or until adults are running the US government.

Somehow you missed all the other countries who have successfully gotten the virus under control by implementing social distancing successfully, which leads to better long term economic resilience.

Why do you care anyway? Stocks are at record highs so your dumbass city isn't affected.

Maybe the plebs who actually do real work for a living by doing things like taking out trash, but they never counted to you as a real person anyway.

No idea how to reply to arrian's comment, so quoting instead

Yes, it did (hold up well, that is)

Lockdowns did absolutely nothing other than delay the inevitable. Infection rates are higher than ever outside the tri-state area, where there is a good chance that herd immunity may have already started to cut into transmissibility (when you include for example cross resistance from other coronaviruses)

Death rates among the newly infected have plummeted as the age profile of the infected dropped..

The epidemiologists' models have not managed to beat the predictive value ovaa trailing 7 day infection rate - there are now multiple academic papers pointing this out. The scale of scientific malpractice here is breathtaking.

It's hard to think of anything more damning of the American system than the fact that it resulted in this (and by that I mean not just Manhattan Mugabe, but his enablers).
