A peace loving country would more often than not, by definition, avoid conflict. Appeasers, neutrality, isolationist, etc.

Appeasers cause wars. Crime is higher in gun free zones like Chicago. Go ahead and be neutral in regard to China. Go ahead and appease Iran and see what happens.

We've already been neutral with regards to China. I don't think that's working out too good. But being kind of dumb tolerant certainly isn't going to work.

For a peace loving nation the USA have been involved in quite a lot of wars during the last half century (partially with direct involvement (i.e. US soldiers involved), partially supporting wars (like the Mujaheddin and Taliban in Afghanistanb during the 1980s ... somethign that led, among others, to the rise of Osama Bin Laden).

For a peace loving nation the USA also devise a huge part of their budget to the military:
54% of the budget, which makes it, in total numbers, higher than all other countries in the Top Ten of military budgets added

There's so much lawlessness right now it's not even funny. Twenty two people died now from these riots and the Democrats do nothing. You're all a bunch of anarchist thugs. Public safety

The Constitution allows the government increased power in times of crisis, including the suspension of Habeas Corpus. Masks and social distancing are clearly means of slowing the spread of disease, not some fascist plot to destroy individuality.

As for the media, they're hypocrites... Partisans attacking the other side while defending their own aint nothing new. That doesn't mean the bug and masks aren't the reality, it just means human lives matter only when they provide a political advantage.
